Nashua woman faces drug and assault charges

NASHUA – Crystal Farley, 38, of Nashua, was taken into custody on June 22 for an alleged assault and drug possession.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to 48 Temple St. where the female victim told them that she sustained a head injury when Farley assaulted her.

Police later found Farley sitting in a vehicle at the Eagles Wing Function Center at 10 Spruce St.

While searching the vehicle, police reportedly discovered a brown powder believed to be either heroin or fentanyl as well as nine Suboxone sublingual films.

Farley has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug and simple assault.

She was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 23.

Under state law, if convicted, she could face up to 15 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
