NASHUA – The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua recently welcomed friends and supporters including past directors, trustees, advisors, staff and alumni to a special event at One Positive Place, honoring the club’s rich history and celebrating its future.

The highlight of the gathering was a time capsule display, reconnecting generations of supporters and showcasing the enduring impact of the club’s mission.

Attendees enjoyed light refreshments and engaged with interactive displays that celebrated the club’s milestones from the 1970s to today. The reveal featured artifacts unearthed from a time capsule placed at the club in 1974, alongside treasured items saved from each decade since, sparking conversations and reflections on the Club’s journey of empowering youth.

“This time capsule reminds us of how far we’ve come and the incredible promise that lies ahead,” said Craig Fitzgerald, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua and a former club kid. “It’s a powerful testament to the dedication of our supporters past, present and future and a reminder that what we do here truly makes a difference.”

The event also looked forward, unveiling a new time capsule project featuring letters from current club members. Attendees were encouraged to contribute their own messages, fostering a lasting link between generations and reinforcing our community’s shared commitment to youth development.

In tandem with celebrating the past, the event highlighted exciting progress on the club’s ongoing capital campaign–an initiative designed to enhance facilities, expand programs, and ensure that the club continues to serve Greater Nashua’s youth for decades to come.
