Massachusetts man charged with Nashua bank robbery

NASHUA – Ronald Ribeiro, 41, of Lexington, Mass., was taken into custody on June 13 in connection with a bank robbery last month.
According to the Nashua Police Department, the TD Bank at 225 Daniel Webster Highway reported being robbed on the morning of May 28.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division released surveillance photographs to the public and other law enforcement agencies for assistance in identifying Ribeiro.
Nashua Police were assisted by the FBI, the Massachusetts State Police and the Lexington Police Department in making the arrest.
Ribeiro has been charged with robbery and being a fugitive from justice.
Under state and federal law, if convicted, he could face up to 12 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $9,000 in fines.
Ribiero is being held on preventive detention at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on June 16.
