YMCA of Greater Nashua hosting Y CARES WEEKS

By Staff | Jun 8, 2025

NASHUA — The YMCA of Greater Nashua is hosting Y CARES WEEKS, a three-week initiative designed to celebrate the power of connection, foster a sense of belonging and inspire achievement throughout the community.

The program will conclude on June 29.

“This is more than a fundraiser,” said Chief Mission Advancement Officer Nathan Fink. “Y CARES WEEKS is about cultivating a culture of gratitude and community reflection. We want members to pause, share, and think about how the Y has impacted their lives and how their support can impact the lives of others.”

Each week will focus on a unique theme:

-Week 1: Connection (June 9-15) – Highlighting the relationships and support systems formed at the Y.

-Week 2: Belonging (June 16-22) – Exploring how individuals and families experience inclusion and build it for others.

-Week 3: Achievement (June 23-29) – Celebrating personal growth and how we can support others in reaching their goals.

During Y CARES WEEKS, members will be invited to participate in brief reflections during classes and programs and to share their experiences on “Graffiti Walls” placed across all branches. These interactive spaces are designed to visually capture stories of impact, hope, and generosity.

“Asking people what the Y has given them opens up meaningful conversations,” said Fink. “Y CARES WEEKS gives our members the chance to reflect and give back in a way that strengthens the entire community.”
