NASHUA – Starting with an overnight retreat last September, members of the Leadership Greater Nashua Class of 2025 attended nine monthly day-long sessions where they had the opportunity to meet with industry leaders and government officials in Nashua and across the state.
Together they learned about topics that included Nashua’s history, arts, culture, nonprofit organizations, public safety, criminal justice, high technology, media, communications, government, politics, healthcare, wellness, education, workforce, economics, community development and entrepreneurship.
As a requirement for graduation from the LGN program, the class also had to plan, execute, fundraise and complete a class legacy project. This year’s class project was the revitalization of the dining room at the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter, which increased their seating capacity by almost double.
