Manchester man charged with shots fired

NASHUA – Brett Houle, 32, of Manchester, was taken into custody on May 26 in connection with an incident that allegedly involved gunfire.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to a report of shots fired on Heon Court. Upon arrival, police were informed by several residents that shots had been fired in the neighborhood.
A short time later, officers found Houle with a shotgun and placed him under arrest.
He has been charged with reckless conduct and resisting arrest or detention.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years of probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
Houle refused the services of a bail commissioner and was taken to the Hillsborough County of Corrections. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 27.
