Nashua man accused of possession of child pornography

NASHUA – Jeremy French, 48, of Nashua, was taken into custody on April 30 for allegedly being in possession of child sexual abuse images.

According to the Nashua Police Department, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified detectives about a Dropbox account with child sexual abuse images. During their investigation, detectives identified French as the owner of the Dropbox account. They also executed search warrants at his home and seized a number of electronic devices.

Based on their investigation, detectives charged French with five counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.

He was held without bail and was transferred to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections. He was arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 1.

Under state law, if convicted, French could face up to 75 years in prison, up to 25 years of probation and up to $20,000 in fines.
