NASHUA — During his recent tour of the new Can-One USA facility, Mayor James Donchess began collaborating with the company’s leadership about creating a long-term partnership to bolster sustainability.

“The city of Nashua is pleased to welcome Can-One as our first new manufacturing facility in decades,” said Donchess. “In addition to bringing 100 jobs to our local workforce, the company is also poised to become a strong partner in other facets of economic development and community engagement. We’re excited to explore these multiple avenues with them.”

Located at 141 Burke St., Can-One, which manufactures aluminium cans, share’s Nashua’s dedication for a “cleaner, greener future.”

As one way to accomplish this, Donchess and Can-One representatives discussed the possibility of involving families and the Nashua School District in initiatives to increase recycling and environmental stewardship.

Can-One CEO Giovanni DiMambro underscored his company’s commitment to the Gate City.

“We’re honored to be part of the Nashua community,” he said. “Our goal is not only to manufacture sustainably but to be an active partner in the life of the city, helping shape a cleaner, more vibrant future together.”
