By Staff | Apr 23, 2025

NASHUA – Harbor Care has been awarded a $10,000 grant from Northeast Delta Dental Foundation in support of its on-site dental clinic at the Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center.

This generous funding will help ensure access to high-quality oral health care for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, many of whom face complex barriers to care.

The Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center is a federally qualified health center that integrates primary, behavioral, and oral health services. Through this grant, Harbor Care will continue to provide essential dental services to individuals in need, at reduced or no cost, including preventive cleanings, x-rays and restorative care.

“We are incredibly grateful to Northeast Delta Dental for their continued commitment to ensure access to oral health services for those who need it most,” said Henry Och, president & CEO of Harbor Care. “Dental health is an essential part of overall wellness, and this support helps us ensure no one is left behind.”

“We are committed to promoting the crucial connection between oral health and overall wellbeing,” said Jennifer Beyer, senior manager of Corporate Giving at Northeast Delta Dental. “Harbor Care’s dedication to treating the whole person perfectly aligns with our holistic approach to health.”

Harbor Care’s dental team includes a full-time dentist, hygienist and dental assistant and works in close coordination with Harbor Care’s case managers and primary care providers to ensure seamless care and follow-up.
