Concord Coach to resume Plus Service to NYC from Concord and Nashua

CONCORD – Beginning May 22, Concord Coach Lines will resume direct service between Concord and New York City with an additional stop in Nashua.
The service will run on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays and initially offer one round trip from New Hampshire to Midtown Manhattan. The service will drop off and depart from East 42nd Street, between First and Second Avenues, one block from the United Nations Headquarters.
The new schedule will depart from the Concord Transportation Center at 6:30 a.m., and Nashua’s exit 8 park & ride lot at 7:15 a.m., with scheduled arrival in New York at noon. The return trip will leave from East 42nd Street at 2 p.m. and arrive in Concord at 7:30 p.m.
The service is branded Concord Coach Lines Plus and offers amenities that Concord’s service to Boston does not. The coaches seat 30 passengers (motor coaches used for service to Boston seat 51) and have executive style “two and one” seating–two seats on one side of the aisle but only one seat on the other. The back of the bus offers a self-service gallery that includes a single-serve coffee maker and other complimentary snacks and beverages.
Tickets for the service are reservation-based, much like airlines, so trips need to be pre-booked and used at the specific time and date for which they were purchased. An introductory fare of $69 one way from Concord or Nashua is on sale now at www.concordcoachlines.com or at 1-800-639-9090.
Previously, Concord Coach Lines offered direct New York City service from New Hampshire until the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
“We are happy to resume our service to New York City from New Hampshire,” said Benjamin Blunt, president of Concord Coach Lines. “We think there remains a market for a direct/nonstop service to New York City that doesn’t require the expense or frustration of having to make connections–regardless of mode. We believe that our staff is uniquely capable of providing a first-class experience to that market.”
The bus company operates a similar service to New York City from Portland, Maine, commencing in November 2015.
“People have really enjoyed the direct connection to New York City from Maine and the amenities and conveniences that the service offers,” said Blunt.
