Litchfield man charged with receiving stolen property

NASHUA – Connor Hampson, 20, of Litchfield, was taken into custody on April 3 on a felony warrant for accusing him of receiving stolen property.
According to the Nashua Police Department, on Jan. 10, officers responded to Hudson RPM Distributors at 8 Cotton Rd. for a reported burglary and multiple tools that were allegedly stolen.
The investigation was furthered by detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division. They reportedly identified Hampson as buying a stolen tool, valued at more than $7,000, from the burglary suspects, whose identities have not been released. The tool was later recovered as well as a number of other items believed to be stolen.
Hampson has been charged with receiving stolen property over $1,500.
Under state law, if convicted, Hampson could face up to 15 years in prison, up to five years of probation and a fine of up to $4,000.
Hampson was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in Nashua District Court on May 7.
