Nashua woman charged with assault

NASHUA – Crystal Stott, 28, of Nashua, was taken into custody on March 20 on a felony warrant for second degree assault.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers took a report on May 2, 2024 about an assault. The victim, whose identity has not been released, reported being punched in the face by Stott causing a serious eye injury.
While continuing the investigation, detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division reportedly learned that Stott attempted to have a witness delete information that was related to the incident.
Therefore, in addition to second degree assault, Stott has also been charged with tampering with witnesses.
Under state law, if convicted, Stott could face up to 14 years in prison, up to 10 years of probation and up to $8,000 in fines.
Stott was held on preventative detention bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on March 20.
