Nashua man threatens neighbor with gun

NASHUA – Kenneth Hansen, 49, of Nashua, was taken into custody on March 17 on a felony warrant charging him with threatening a neighbor with a gun.

According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to a dispute between neighbors where the victim, whose identity has not been released, told police that Hansen had pointed a gun at him.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division continued the investigation and obtained a warrant to search Hansen’s residence where they reportedly located a firearm.

Hansen has been charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon and the felonious use of a firearm.

Hansen was taken to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and held on a $500 cash bail. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on March 18.

Under state law, if convicted, Hansen could face up to 21 years in prison, up to 15 years of probation and up to $12,000 in fines.
