Skydive United – Taking the Leap for Food Security
On May 17, brave participants will take to the skies for Skydive United, benefiting local food security programs. This year’s theme focuses on supporting families and individuals struggling with food insecurity, ensuring everyone in our community has access to the nourishment they need. By jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, our fearless skydivers make a powerful statement about their commitment to strengthening our community’s social safety net. Every donation directly supports local food programs, helping to provide meals and resources to those in need. Registration is available at https://tinyurl.com/SkydiveUnited2025.
Over the Edge – Rappelling for a Cause
Ever dreamed of stepping off the edge of a towering building and making a heroic descent? Now’s your chance! On June 24, the United Way invites thrill-seekers to join Over the Edge, where participants will rappel 24 stories down the Brady Sullivan Building, 1750 Elm St. in Manchester. This high-adrenaline event supports more than 20 community nonprofits, including those dedicated to food security, making a lasting impact on countless lives. Registration is available at https://tinyurl.com/UWOTE2025.
The three events provide a unique way to give back to the community while experiencing unforgettable moments. Whether you prefer the elegance of a wine tasting and comedy night, the thrill of free-falling from the sky or the challenge of rappelling a skyscraper, your participation directly contributes to the United Way’s mission of creating a stronger, more supportive community.
