Nashua Center for the Arts to honor local healthcare workers

By Staff | Feb 10, 2025

NASHUA – As a gesture of appreciation for healthcare workers, Nashua Center for the Arts will host employees from two local hospitals with complimentary tickets to see singer Tony Vega on Feb. 14.

The giveaway is to recognize and honor local healthcare workers who have day-in and day-out tended to their community members.

As part of the initiative, healthcare workers from Southern New Hampshire Health and St. Joseph Hospital will receive tickets to the 8 p.m. show courtesy of Spectacle Live. The tickets are being distributed to show appreciation for healthcare workers’ consistent commitment to providing life-saving care, comfort and support to patients. Healthcare workers consistently go above and beyond, such as sacrificing their well-being to improve others’ health.

“All of us at the Nashua Center for the Arts and Spectacle Live would like to take this opportunity to thank the dedicated healthcare workers at Southern New Hampshire Health and St. Joseph Hospital who give so much to the Nashua community,” said Colleen Pentland Lally, director of Corporate Partnerships for Spectacle Live. ” We deeply appreciate both of our healthcare partners and hope that this small gesture of gratitude provides an unforgettable evening of music and dancing for those who truly deserve it.”

Southern New Hampshire Health and St. Joseph Hospital have both expressed their appreciation for the initiative and the excitement in offering this opportunity to healthcare workers.

“We are a proud partner of the Nashua Center for the Arts and the opportunity to experience a live performance and dance the night away is a fantastic way for our healthcare staff to recharge,” said Betsey Houde, executive director of Community Partnerships at Southern New Hampshire Health. “With the challenges of cold weather and a surge in patients needing extra care this season, this generous gift of tickets couldn’t have come at a better time.”

“We are truly grateful to the Nashua Center for the Arts for this generous show of appreciation for our healthcare workers,” said Timothy McMahon, spokesperson for St. Joseph Hospital.

“Their dedication to caring for our community is unwavering, and it means so much to see that commitment recognized in such a special way. We enjoy working with Nashua Center for the Arts and it is a wonderful reminder of how our community comes together to support those who dedicate their lives to helping others.”

Vega is a Puerto Rican artist who is excited to share his culture and does so by inviting his attendees to partake in salsa dancing during his performance. Vega’s show will bring a night filled with entertainment and dancing for all to enjoy. Tickets are on sale now at www.NashuaCenterfortheArts.com or by calling 1-800-657-8774.
