LONDONDERRY – The Londonderry Police Department held its first event of the 2025 Connecting with our Community Campaign on Jan. 27.
Officers and staff handed out junior officer stickers, Connecting with our Community support wristbands and slices of pizza courtesy of Market Basket.
Community K9 Officer Sean Benoit and K9 Rio were the most popular in attendance but detectives, patrol officers and our two civilian prosecutors also made the event.
“While we annually participate in dozens of community events, this year we are purposely scheduling recurring events at locations throughout town in an effort to simply say hello and thank you to the community that employs and supports us,” said Capt. Patrick Cheetham, commander of the Communications and Community Events Division.
He asked that residents, visitors and business owners take a minute to meet the men and women who protect and serve Londonderry.
Anyone interested in hosting a Connecting with our Community event should send email to pcheetham@londonderrynhpd.gov or call 603-425-5905.
