Hudson man hits two parked cars, charged with second DUI

HUDSON – Matthew Davis, 28, of Hudson, was taken into custody on Jan. 29 after the vehicle he was driving allegedly struck two parked cars.
According to the Hudson Police Department, officers responded to a residence on Wason Road at 2:50 p.m.
The preliminary investigation suggests that Davis lost control of his vehicle, causing him to hit the cars parked in the driveway.
Police determined that Davis was driving under the influence and also discovered controlled drugs in his vehicle.
Davis has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug, driving under the influence (second offense) and inhaling toxic vapors for effect.
He was released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Feb. 27.
Under state law, if convicted, Davis could face up to seven years in prison, up to $33,200 in fines and having his driver’s license suspended for up to three years.
