NASHUA – Albert Glaeser, 51, of Nashua, was killed in a single vehicle crash on Daniel Webster Highway on the morning of Jan. 26.

Emergency crews arrived at 228 Daniel Webster Hwy. at 10:30 a.m. and found a Ford Bronco that had collided with a utility pole.

Because of Glaeser’s extreme injuries, a MedFlight helicopter was called in and arrived at the scene at about 10:50 a.m.

The northbound lanes of Daniel Webster Highway at Spit Brook Road were closed to allow firefighters to free Glaeser. However, with a number of downed power lines and three transformers on the vehicle, it was initially impossible for first responders to get to him.

After power was disconnected by Eversource, paramedics were able to reach Glaeser at 11:25 a.m. However, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
