NASHUA – Nashua Fire Rescue announced the authorization of two promotions within the Emergency Services Division effective Jan. 12.

Jeffery Donaldson has been promoted to the rank of captain. Donaldson was hired by Nashua Fire Rescue in September 2010. Prior to joining Nashua Fire Rescue, Donaldson was a member of the Goffstown Fire Department. He is a member of the Hazardous Materials Team and will serve as captain of the Amherst Street Fire Station.

Brett Haynes has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Haynes was hired by Nashua Fire Rescue in June 2015 and is a second generation firefighter following his father, Mark, who is a captain. Haynes has served the U.S. Army for nearly 20 years and holds the rank of sergeant first class. He has been assigned to Engine Co. 1 at the Amherst Street Fire Station on Group 1.
