HUDSON – The Palmer Center at Alvirne High School will be hosting an open house on Jan. 22 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The event will be held on the north side of the high school at 200 Derry Rd. in Hudson.

The open house offers an excellent opportunity for students from Hudson and surrounding communities to explore the 14 career and technical education programs available at the Palmer Center. Attendees will have the chance to meet with teachers, interact with current students from the CTE Ambassadors group, and participate in guided tours throughout the facility.

The Palmer Center proudly offers a wide variety of programs designed to prepare students for success in both higher education and the workforce. The programs include: Accounting, Air Force JROTC, Construction, Culinary Arts, Cybersecurity, Digital Media, Engineering, Health Science, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Human Services, Marketing, Natural Resources, Veterinary Science as well as Welding and Fabrication.

The Palmer Center is open to students from Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Londonderry, Merrimack, Milford, Nashua and Pelham.

In the event of inclement weather, the open house will be held on Jan. 23 at the same time and location.
