MERRIMACK – Fimbel Garage Doors recently selected the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley and the Merrimack Youth Association to support with its philanthropic efforts.
As a Dream Sponsor of the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, Fimbel Garage Doors is funding programs that promote education, healthy lifestyles and character development for young people.
Fimbel’s Premium Sponsorship of the Merrimack Youth Association delivers direct support to the baseball, basketball, football, cheerleading, lacrosse, soccer, softball and wrestling programs.
The company has also donated doors to a supply shed that was built by the MYA football team.
Along with these new sponsorships, Fimbel Garage Doors has provided funding to more than 10 nonprofit organizations this year. These include the New Hampshire Food Bank, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Epping Youth Athletic Association and the New Hampshire Humane Society.
The company’s 100th anniversary celebration in June featured efforts that raised approximately $4,600 for local nonprofits, including charitable donations made on behalf of each prize wheel “spinner” and proceeds from the silent auction. The family-owned company also rewarded a Grand Prize winner with a $10,000 garage door makeover at the milestone event.
While Fimbel Garage Doors has maintained strong charitable outreach initiatives throughout their long history, the small company’s special 100th anniversary year has catalyzed a 136 percent increase in philanthropic donations over 2023, with an anticipated total increase of 444 percent based on upcoming plans through the end of the fiscal year.
“Giving back to our community has always been a priority for Fimbel Garage Doors – it is an integral part of our identity as a family business,” said Jon Fimbel, general manager of Fimbel Garage Doors. “I am so proud of the commitment each of our team members demonstrates to these charitable causes and am grateful for the opportunity to sponsor organizations that positively impact the lives of so many.”
