Hudson Selectmen appoint new town administrator

HUDSON – The Board of Selectmen recently appointed Roy Sorenson as the new town administrator effective Feb. 10, 2025.
Sorenson is currently the Municipal Services manager in Salem, a position he has held for nine years. Prior to that, he served as the Public Works director in Bedford, Mass. and as the Street Department supervisor in Nashua.
Sorenson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
Sorenson is replacing former Town Administrator Stephen Malizia, who retired after 28 years of service to the town.
