NH Charitable Foundation awards $30K grant to Harbor Care
NASHUA – Harbor Care recently announced receiving a $30,000 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to support advancing its mission to end homelessness and improve health outcomes.
This is accomplished by enhancing technology systems, expanding outreach and engagement efforts as well as strengthening partnerships to better serve New Hampshire’s most vulnerable individuals and families.
“Harbor Care understands that the challenges faced by our community’s most vulnerable individuals are deeply interconnected and complex. For those experiencing homelessness, navigating these challenges can feel insurmountable,” said Henry Och, president and CEO of Harbor Care. “This grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation enables us to make critical improvements that directly support our ability to provide housing, healthcare and essential services. These enhancements will allow us to better meet the needs of those we serve, empowering them to achieve stability, health and success.”
“The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is committed to helping make New Hampshire a community where everyone can thrive,” said Anne Phillips, director of grantmaking at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. “We’re proud to support Harbor Care’s vital work to get people into stable and safe housing and improve health outcomes for New Hampshire’s most vulnerable populations.”
