Two seriously injured in highway rollover crash

By Christopher Roberson - Staff Writer | Nov 18, 2024

NASHUA – Ian Odea, 26, of Hudson, and his passenger, Laura Gomes Duhan, 26, of Haverhill, Mass., suffered serious injuries when their vehicle, a 2022 Honda Kona, flipped over on the evening of Nov. 16.

According to State Police, the crash occurred at 11:20 p.m. “off the ramp to Circumferential Highway eastbound from Daniel Webster Highway.”

The preliminary investigation suggested that Odea went off the road, crossed over onramp and went over a guardrail. This sent the car rolling down a steep embankment ending at the railroad tracks by the Merrimack River.

Gomes Duhan was thrown from the vehicle during the collision and was taken via Boston MedFlight to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Odea was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

Additional information was not made available as the crash remains under investigation.

Anyone with information that may assist in the investigation is urged to contact Trooper First Class Tyler Duhamel at 603-223-4381 or at tyler.j.duhamel@dos.nh.gov.
