NASHUA — Harbor Care, a leading provider of housing, healthcare and veteran services in New Hampshire, was recently awarded a two-year, $15,000 grant from the Nordson Corporation Foundation to support veterans who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless.

“We extend our deep gratitude to the Nordson Corporation Foundation for this generous donation,” said Henry Och, president and CEO of Harbor Care. “Nordson’s gift will support the expansion of our basic services, employment services, and our suicide prevention program. Our goal is to ensure that no veteran in New Hampshire is left without access to the housing, healthcare, and employment opportunities they need to rebuild their lives.”

During the next year, Harbor Care plans to serve 500 veterans throughout the state and will continue working with local state and federal partners to reduce veteran homelessness across New Hampshire, with the ultimate goal of ending it entirely.

Nordson manufactures innovative precision technology solutions for a diverse range of end markets. Specializing in equipment manufacturing, Nordson is known for its world-class precision engineering, fully integrated systems, after-market parts and consumables. This extensive product range supports critical applications across consumer durable, non-durable, industrial, medical and electronic sectors.

With a proven track record of serving more than 5,000 individuals annually, Harbor Care is deepening its commitment to ending veteran homelessness. In Greater Nashua, where Harbor Care operates many of its programs, veteran homelessness has “effectively ended,” meaning that 100 percent of veteran households are rapidly connected to stable housing solutions.
