MERRIMACK — The Rotary Club of Merrimack will be hosting the Turkey Trot 5K Road Race on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28.

The race will be held at Merrimack Middle School, 31 Madeline Bennett Dr. Registration will start at 7 a.m. and the race will start at 8 a.m.

Pre-registration is $15 for children up to 13 and $25 for adults. Race day registration will increase to $30 for adults. The first 200 registrants will receive a free t-shirt. Pre-registration is available at http://www.merrimack5k.com/online-registration-1.html. Race sponsorships are also available. All proceeds will go to Coats for Kids and other community services.

Please bring a canned good to the race for the local food banks.

This year there will be chips in the bibs for accurate timing as this will speed up the process of announcing the winners.
