MERRIMACK – The 15th and final Erica’s Run/Walk will be held on Sept. 28 at Merrimack High School, 36 McElwain St.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the 5K race begins at 9 a.m.

The event will also include the Kids 1K FunRun along part of O’Gara Drive.

Race packets can be picked up from 5-7 p.m. on Sept. 27 at Strikeback Dynamic Defense Systems, 458 Daniel Webster Hwy. in Merrimack or on race day at Merrimack High School.

The race is held in memory of Erica Pombrio, who, at the age of 23, died of Liposarcoma on Sept. 19, 2009.

Since 2010, the Erica Pombrio Foundation has raised nearly $225,000 for more than 60 families in southern New Hampshire.
