Boys & Girls Club fall programming returns with community, learning and fun
NASHUA – Back-to-school season means time to find after-school enriching activities for children that won’t break the bank. That’s where the Boys & Girls of Club of Greater Nashua comes in.
For $40 a year, the club provides before-school and after-school youth development programs and individual services, along with healthy meals and snacks and transportation to and from the club at no additional cost. A range of age-appropriate tutoring, academic support, cultural arts, STEAM hands-on learning and athletic programs are available for children in grades K-12. Full-day early childhood care is available for children ages six weeks through five years old.
This fall, children can enroll in licensed childcare at the club’s Early Learning Center. Children in grades 3-5 can enroll in the Clubhouse age group and children in grades 6-12 can enroll in the Stahl Teen Center.
The newly-opened STEAM laboratory is designed to engage children in academic programming in a fun and safe way, encouraging them to learn new things and exposing them to potential career fields in STEAM.
The club’s new Catie’s Closet, the first non-school location in the country, gives students access to free new or gently used clothing and basic hygiene necessities. This resource is open to all club members regardless of age.
