NASHUA – The United Way of Greater Nashua recently announced that its first ever Poker Hand Pub Crawl will be held on Sept. 7.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. at Kettlehead Brewing Company, 97 Main St. Other establishments will include Penuche’s Ale House at 4 Canal St., Fody’s Tavern at 9 Clinton St., Margaritas Mexican Restaurant at 1 Nashua Dr. and Odd Fellows Brewing Co. at 124 Main St.

This lively and charitable event invites residents to enjoy a night out on the town while supporting vital programs that benefit Greater Nashua.

The Poker Hand Pub Crawl is more than just a night of fun, it’s also an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. Participants will embark on a pub crawl through Downtown Nashua, stopping at designated venues to collect playing cards. At the end of the night, the person with the best poker hand wins a cash prize, but the true winners are the residents of Greater Nashua. This event is made possible by early sponsors including NÜTRL, Gate City Casino and the Souhegan Valley Happy Hour Rotary Club.

The inaugural Poker Hand Pub Crawl will support the United Way’s ongoing initiatives, which include programs focused on education, financial stability and health — the building blocks of a good quality of life. By participating, attendees contribute directly to the well-being of their neighbors, ensuring that everyone in Greater Nashua has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Participants can register online through the United Way’s event page. The $25 registration fee includes entry to the event, a map of participating venues and a chance to win the grand cash prize and many raffle prizes.

Attendees will visit each participating pub, enjoy the atmosphere and collect a playing card at each stop with the purchase of any one drink.

At the final stop, participants will compare hands to see who has the winning poker hand. The best hand wins a grand prize with additional raffle prizes so many people will win.
