MANCHESTER – Harbor Care, in partnership with U.S. Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Labor and other community service providers, will host the 20th Annual NH Stand Down on Sept. 20.

The event is a free resource and service expo for former service members experiencing homelessness or who are in need of other assistance.

It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Eversource Energy Park, 780 North Commercial St. in Manchester.

Dozens of service organizations and public assistance agencies will be onsite. Veterans can access help with housing, employment, pension claims, heating and energy, healthcare, financial assistance, food and clothing.
