AWARE NH to host first Putts for Paws golf tournament

NASHUA – Animal Welfare Alliance Resource & Education of New Hampshire will be hosting its first Putts for Paws golf tournament to raise money for surgical equipment at its new veterinary facility in Hooksett.

The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. on July 15 at Sky Meadow Country Club, 6 Mountain Laurels Dr.

AWARE NH is looking to raise $10,000 to purchase essential surgical equipment.

Katherine Underwood, a morning anchor at WMUR-TV, will be the master of ceremonies. There will also be a puppy kissing and snuggling booth, goody bags for all participants, a silent auction and a gift card tree.

On the course, there will be a hole-in-one contest with the winner receiving a five-night, six-day Caribbean cruise. There will also be a $25,000 shootout in which four players will have the opportunity to win $25,000 with a hole-in-one. Lastly, is the golf ball air cannon. The player with the closest cannon shot will receive a four-day, three-night all-inclusive resort getaway in either Mexico, the Dominican Republic or the Bahamas.
