NASHUA – Southern New Hampshire Health recently announced that it is the first hospital in northern New England to offer Stryker Airo TruCT mobile imaging technology to its patients.

SNHH neurosurgeons can now perform real-time, high-quality CT scans during spine and brain surgeries to boost visibility and accuracy. The new CT technology provides innovative surgical imaging capabilities to patients.

“We are dedicated to advancing the way we deliver care to our patients and offering the high-quality care they need, closer to home. Being the first in northern New England to offer the advanced capabilities of Airo TruCT to our patients is an example of this commitment,” said Neurosurgeon Dr. Tung Nguyen. “I have experienced improved visibility and responsiveness during surgery, with Airo TruCT. The technology provides more information for decision-making during surgery, and the ability to perform some procedures in less time. In addition, the technology is mobile, making it more flexible for our space. We are thrilled to offer Airo TruCT to our community.”

With Airo TruCT, SNHH surgeons can scan up to a meter of the spine in as little as 43 seconds. The technology has the potential to reduce the potential for complications and shortens recovery times.
