BEDFORD – On June 3, FEEDNH.org hosted its largest fundraiser ever, a car giveaway event with 10 finalists.
The event was part of its 10-year anniversary celebration of supporting New Hampshire families, seniors, education and the disadvantaged. One thousand tickets were offered for $100 each for a chance to win a 2024 Honda CRV-EXL from AutoFair Honda.
Ten finalists were chosen randomly and invited to attend the live drawing at the Copper Door Restaurant in Bedford. The finalists received $500 in complimentary gift cards from Great New Hampshire Restaurants.
Each finalist picked a box that contained a key to the new car. One by one, they tried their key with David Appleby of Windham declared as the lucky winner. Appleby can decide to accept the car or a $25,000 cash prize.
“We are so pleased to have sold all 1,000 tickets,” said Lisa Allen, chairwoman of the FEEDNH.org Board of Directors. “This was an incredible grand prize and it was so fun to see the excitement build as the 10 finalists tried their key to start the car. This was truly a memorable event to help us celebrate supporting New Hampshire for 10 years.”
