NASHUA – The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua recently celebrated the graduates of its Early Learning Center.

The June 6 event was filled with excitement as the four-and-five-year-olds, dressed in caps and gowns to receive diplomas and reflect on their new friendships, skills and memories from the club’s Pre-K program.

The Early Learning Center provides full and part-time licensed child care to children ages six weeks through third grade. The ceremony not only celebrated the accomplishments of each child, but also emphasized the importance of early childhood education and BGCN’s dedicated teachers and staff who have helped shape these young minds.

“We are incredibly proud of our youngest members who have completed their Pre-K education with us,” said BGCN Executive Director Craig Fitzgerald. “It was such a joy to see them achieve this milestone and we know they are well-prepared for kindergarten. This wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible staff and the community’s support.”

The recently-announced Power of YOUth campaign will allow the club to expand its child care capacity to serve up to 175 children every day in the Early Learning Center. Funds raised will go toward building a secondary entrance for child care families, establishing aged-based classrooms for children ages six weeks through kindergarten and creating a dedicated learning space for children.
