NASHUA – The United Way of Greater Nashua recently announced its annual Community Baby Shower, dedicated to assisting new and expecting low-income parents in the Greater Nashua area.

This year’s event will be held on April 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the United Way office, 20 Broad St. in Nashua.

The Community Baby Shower provides invaluable support to families by offering them the opportunity to visit more than 20 agencies that serve parents and children. Additionally, new families are invited to select items from the Baby Boutique, ensuring they have access to essential baby supplies.

Residents are encouraged to support this initiative by donating new and gently used baby items such as strollers, cribs (crib mattresses are not accepted), carriers/backpacks, high chairs, booster seats as well as pack and plays. However, used car seats cannot be accepted. New items may be purchased locally or online at http://tinyurl.com/UW-2024-Baby.

Requested items include new bibs, bottles, breast pumps, new burp cloths, baby utensils, diapers (all sizes), wipes, diaper bags, baby wash and lotion, rash cream, baby shampoo, new towels, strollers, booster seats, carriers/backpacks, new car seats, educational toys, thermometers, new pacifiers, new teething rings, parenting books, new or gently used baby clothes and lightweight blankets.

All donated items should be sent or dropped off at the United Way office between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays or by appointment no later than April 19.
