NASHUA – The Division of Public Works recently announced guidelines for the annual spring cleanup.

The cleanup will begin on April 8 and will continue through April 19. Pickups may be made by appointment only at 603-589-4750 through April 5. Residents can put out one truckload of material at the curbside for removal.

Brush will be accepted with the cut end facing the street. Brush must be no larger than four inches in diameter and no longer than eight inches. Shrubs must be cleaned of all sand and soil.

Metal goods, household hazardous waste, doors and wood posts will not be accepted.

Residents with a 2024 landfill permit may also take spring cleanup items to the Four Hills Landfill at 840 West Hollis St. for no additional cost. Permits can be purchased at the Division of Public Works at 848 West Hollis St., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at the Four Hills Landfill scale house on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
