BEDFORD – Bradley Kreick, chief executive officer of SolutionHealth, the parent organization of Elliot Health System and Southern New Hampshire Health System, will retire effective April 12.

As CEO, Kreick set the strategic direction of SolutionHealth and led the health system into a period of stability and growth. He worked in collaboration with executive leadership to provide resources needed to deliver care for patients and support for employees.

“On behalf of the SolutionHealth Board of Trustees, we want to thank Brad for his skillful leadership. He took the reins at a time of significant uncertainty and has done an outstanding job stabilizing our organization.” said board Chairman Hon. Clifford Kinghorn. “We are grateful for his steadfast commitment to our communities and for his passion for the mission of SolutionHealth. We’re a stronger organization now and that’s a testament to Brad’s dedication to the providers and employees who make our health system strong.”

Before joining SolutionHealth in December 2021, Kreick served in multiple executive management roles in publicly traded and privately held health care provider and payor organizations. He joined SolutionHealth with more than 25 years of healthcare business management experience, with prior executive leadership positions at Apria Healthcare, Oxford Health Plans and Healthsource, Inc.

“I joined the health system with the goal of stabilizing the organization in the wake of the COVID pandemic and, ultimately, positioning us to realize the promise of our combined organization,” said Kreick. “We have made great strides, and each of our member organizations are excelling and poised for growth in the years ahead. With our enhanced stability in mind, and the goals the SolutionHealth Board set out for me largely accomplished, I have decided now is the best time for me to transition out of the organization. It has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lead a mission-driven organization in my home state and it has been my great honor to do so these last two-and-a-half years.”

Kreick lives in Nashua with his wife Beth. He is chairman of the Board of Trustees for Rivier University and is a board member of AccessHope, the nation’s leading cancer care management organization.

Upon Kreick’s departure, Attorney John Friberg, SolutionHealth’s chief legal officer, will assume the role of interim CEO. Friberg has served on the executive team at SolutionHealth since its inception in 2018 and has previously served in the roles of Interim co-CEO and interim chief operating officer within the Elliot Health System organization, having joined the Elliot management team in 2007.
