HUDSON — Helen Gosselin, 82, of Hudson suffered non-life threatening injuries when her Buick Encore SUV careened into the north side of Mickey’s N.Y. Pizza Restaurant at 94 Lowell Rd. on the afternoon of Jan. 31.

Upon arrival at 1:40 p.m., Hudson police and firefighters found Gosselin trapped in the vehicle. She was quickly rescued and taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

The preliminary investigation suggested that Gosselin was traveling south on Lowell Road when she apparently lost control of the vehicle. To impact the northern side of the building, the SUV would have first plowed through several shrubs and a small retaining wall.

No one inside the restaurant was injured; however, Mickey’s will be closed until further notice.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Any witnesses are urged to contact Officer Leandro Sosa at 603-886-6011.
