By Christopher Roberson - Staff Writer | Dec 26, 2023

HUDSON – Fernando Jose Amador Dominguez and Henry Moises Olivero Linares, both of the Bronx, N.Y., were recently arrested by Hudson Police for their alleged involvement in an identity theft incident.

According to police, detectives launched an investigation earlier this month when a Hudson resident reported that their identity was used to purchase electronics.

On Dec. 23, a local business owner called police and reported that Olivero Linares was attempting to fraudulently purchase the electronics.

When police responded to the business, Olivero Linares allegedly ran from the officer and got into a vehicle where Amador Dominguez was reportedly waiting for him.

The duo was stopped and apprehended following a brief pursuit.

Olivero Linares has since been charged with conspiracy to commit theft and two counts of resisting arrest.

Amador Dominguez was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, forgery and conspiracy to commit theft. He was also charged with disobeying a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and driving without a valid license.

Under state law, if convicted, Amador Dominguez could face up to 17 years in prison and up to

$9,000 in fines. Olivero Linares could face up to 16 years in prison and a fine of up to $4,000.

Both defendants were scheduled to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Dec. 26.
