By Christopher Roberson - Staff Writer | Dec 10, 2023

NASHUA – Ten suspects have been taken into custody for their alleged involvement in a shootout this past August.

In addition to five suspects who are minors, the following individuals have also been arrested: Eric McCall, 18, of Nashua, Jorge Ruiz, 19, of Lawrence, Mass., Anthony Boykins, 23, of Nashua, Robert Alleyne-Underwood, 18, of Nashua and Aisayach Isreal Perez-Virella, 20, of Nashua.

According to police, the confrontation began at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Aug. 16. Allegedly, two groups of individuals had previously agreed to meet up for a fight.

At the time, surveillance footage from businesses on West Hollis and Ash streets showed the two groups exchanging gunfire across the street from each other.

Although no one was injured, authorities said a bullet struck the side of a vehicle that had two adults and two children inside. Witnesses told police that multiple shots were fired and that a white car was observed speeding away from the scene.

Each suspect will face at least one riot charge. Under state law, if convicted, the adult suspects could be sentenced to up to seven years in prison.
