United Way host ‘Let’s Talk’ weekly online conversations for older adults

By Staff | Dec 5, 2023

NASHUA – The United Way of Greater Nashua is working with volunteers from the Emmaus Institute and Main Street Methodist Church to coordinate bi-weekly talks for isolated older adults.

This project is supported by Greater Nashua Mental Health, Gateways Community Services, Nashua Senior Activity Center, and Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County.

The program, called “Let’s Talk,” is an ongoing series of Zoom conversations for homebound older adults and others.

The talks occur on the first and third Thursday of the month from noon to 1 p.m. and on the second and fourth Thursday of the month from 9-10 a.m.

The purpose of these conversations is to bring people together who may not otherwise have a connection to a community. It’s all about reducing social isolation. The conversations are organic – with no set theme or agenda. All are welcome to join. The link for all sessions is: https://tinyurl.com/LetsTalkNH.
