Eight arrested during ‘high visibility patrol’ on Everett Turnpike
NASHUA – On Sept. 15, state troopers, in concert with the Nashua Police Department, conducted a high visibility patrol on Everett Turnpike.
The purpose of the patrol was to focus on impaired and aggressive driving. According to police, the patrol resulted in 83 vehicles being stopped and eight arrests being made. Three drivers were reportedly clocked at more than 105 miles per hour. In one case, children were found to be in the vehicle.
The following individuals were placed under arrest:
David Goodall, 25, of Chelmsford, Mass – DWI
Jonathan Velez, 40, of Bedford – Aggravated DWI and Reckless Driving
Vivian Vargas, 27, of Nashua – Reckless Driving and Endangering the Welfare of a Child
Unidentified juvenile of Nashua – Driving without a License
Cory Larochelle, 33, of Lowell, Mass. – Reckless Driving
Juan Padilla Escobar, 20, of Nashua – Driving without a License
Valentina Pikulik, 26, of Manchester – Aggravated DWI and DWI-Subsequent Offense
Benedy Abreu, 35, of Haverhill – Reckless Driving
An increased number of patrols will continue on Everett Turnpike and across the state throughout the fall season. Drivers are reminded to follow the rules of the road and drive responsibly.
