BEDFORD – More than 100 families came out on Aug. 6 to celebrate summer with an outdoor concert, food trucks and face painting at the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill in Bedford. The summer concert featured local singer/songwriters Alli Beaudry and Nick Phaneuf.
The next concert will be held on Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. and will feature Mr. Aaron, a multi-instrumentalist performer and composer making music and videos for kids ages 0-10 and their grown-ups. Tickets are $20 per family and are available on the Educational Farm at Joppa Hill’s website, https://sites.google.com/theeducationalfarm.org/joppahillfarm.
The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill is a non-profit organization that operates a working farm on 35 acres of public land leased from the town of Bedford. The farm is free and open to the public every day and offers a variety of educational and community programs designed to pass our region’s vanishing agricultural heritage to new generations.
