For the second straight year, Hollis Brookline High School ended its spring season with two state championships in one day on Saturday.

The Cavaliers baseball team, behind the 14-strikeout pitching of Charlie Hale, blanked Plymouth 5-0 in the Division II state title game at Manchester’s Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. It’s HB’s second straight crown and the Cavs finished the season 16-3.

Two hours later, at Nashua High School South’s Belanger Gym, the Cavaliers boys volleyball team beat Londonderry 3-1, winning the final set 3-1, to win its second title in a row. The No. 2 Cavs finished the season 18-1, losing only to the Lancers in the regular season.

Also on Saturday, the Nashua High School South girls 4×100 relay team captured the New England championship. The runners included Soraya Ross, Mimi Ortiz, Mia Cruz and Iyana Braswell.
