NASHUA — Nashua High School North has a new football coach.

Chad Zibolis, the Titans offensive coordinator the last several years, has been officially named as the program’s new head man, replacing Dante Laurendi, who resigned last month.

Zibolis was the preference of a search committee headed up by Nashua Athletic Director Lisa Gingras. Gingras Tuesday afternoon confirmed that on Monday night the Board of Education approved the hire.

In taking the football job, Zibolis will resign his North varsity wrestling head coaching position. The two sports’ seasons briefly overlap. He’s expected to have his first official meeting with the Titan football players on Friday.
