BRENTWOOD – Arraignment and a bail hearing was tentatively scheduled for this morning in Rockingham County Superior Court for Szczesny Jerzy Kaminski, the former Phillips Exeter Academy math teacher arrested Monday on multiple charges accusing him of sexually assaulting a student during the student’s freshman and sophomore years.
Police had begun investigating Kaminski, 59, in May 2016, after the school contacted police regarding unspecified allegations, according to news reports.
A PEA spokeswoman said the school terminated Kaminski in April, after police reopened the investigation following allegations of “boundary violations,” according to Seacoastonline.com.
The charges lodged against Kaminski include three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, which are felonies, and three misdemeanor counts of sexual assault.
Kaminski is accused of sexually assaulting a student between 2013-15, when the student was residing at the boarding school, according to Seacoastonline.com.
