Day 6
Today, we went to the Polynesian Culture Center. All of us went into it thinking it would be museums and maybe some tours. It was the complete opposite. All day, we went around to different “islands” and learned about each of their cultures and how they combine to make one “ohana.”
“It was really entertaining and really interesting to look at all of the cultures in depth. Overall, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Nashua High School South senior Kyle Evans said.
Tomorrow, we travel to Hilo on the big island. Most of the days will be spent snorkeling, swimming with animals, and relaxing.
