NASHUA – Detectives with the police department’s Criminal Investigation Division took into custody the suspect in a July road rage incident, which police said involved a crash and an assault that sent the alleged victim to the hospital.

Arrested shortly before 8 p.m. Monday was Jacqueline Boucher, 33, of 103 Pine St., who was initially charged with one count of criminal mischief, a Class B felony.

Subsequent to her arrest, police added charges that include three counts of simple assault and one count of conduct after an accident, all of which are Class A misdemeanors.

Boucher was booked on the charges and later released on $200 cash bail pending arraignment, which has yet to be scheduled.

Police said officers responded around 4:15 p.m. on July 7 to a report of a road rage incident “that involved an assault and ended in a motor vehicle crash.” They didn’t say where the crash or alleged assault took place.

Nor did they say what prompted the incident, or if Boucher and the alleged victim knew each other.

They did say the alleged victim was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.

Police also ask that anyone who may have more information about the incident to contact the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
