MILFORD – A rollover crash around 8:30 a.m. Sunday claimed the life of Milford resident and 2020 Milford High graduate Jennifer DeAngelis, according to police Capt. Shawn Pelletier.

DeAngelis, 18, was pronounced deceased at the scene, Pelletier said. The single-car crash occurred about 8:30 a.m., when the 2007 Chevy Malibu DeAngelis was driving east on Route 101 left the road between the the Perry Road and Osgood Road overpasses and rolled over.

Police closed Route 101 between Phelan Road and Route 13 for about three hours, Pelletier said, as investigators conducted an on-scene investigation.

The investigation is continuing, Pelletier said. He asks that anyone with any additional information regarding the crash contact the department at 249-0630.
