Horoscopes by Holiday for April 13

By Holiday Mathis - Horoscopes by Holiday | Apr 13, 2024

In the sunset days of Aries Season, there are many things that could shore up the distance between you and the prize on the horizon. Time and work are minimum requirements, boosted by add-ons like luck, talent, team and more. An aspect to Neptune challenges us to see the potential in gifts and flaws alike. Whatever you’re working with, lean into it.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Giving is its own gift. You’re aware that some of the folks you help will not be able to return the favor for a while, if ever, and that makes your helper’s high all the sweeter. There’s no shortage of good vibes coming your way.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). It’s not always in your best interest to step into the crosshairs of judgment and risk approval or disapproval. It’s only worthwhile when the other person is someone you really want to connect with.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). While the scenario you step into today isn’t ideal, a move in any direction at all will land you in a place that’s better than where you currently stand. You’re right. This isn’t bad, but better is on the horizon.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). A mixed message throws people off-balance and that’s what’s good and bad about it. People proclaim to prefer straight answers, but if this was true for all, then mysteries and crime dramas wouldn’t be popular genres.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). A daunting task that seems overwhelming now is really quite manageable because there are people, systems and tools around to help you. Seek information and support first and you’ll quickly find your groove.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). When inaction is the norm, then it will take something more to get into action. Maybe it’s boldness or high stakes. Maybe it’s extreme curiosity or a deep-seated need to impress people or make them laugh.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). As generous as you are, you see so much need in the world that you feel driven to do more. Small niceties count, too. You’ll cheer someone else up, and your own mood will elevate with the corners of their smile.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Improvements will be made by subtraction instead of addition. Look around and note what might be cleared, sold, given away or left behind in the spirit of traveling lighter into tomorrow.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Socrates believed we all have the knowledge we need inside of us already. Accessing it can still be a challenge. The right teacher, muse, love interest or purpose will make quick work of that test.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). “Tell me something good,” sang Rufus and Chaka Khan. “Tell me that you love me.” There are many ways to say it, but today the best way will be with a simple three-word statement.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). People stick with their original decisions for an array of reasons. Maybe there are no obvious better options, or they just find it easier to maintain a position than to change. Knowing the reason will give you an advantage.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Maturity, compassion and selflessness are transcendent ways of operating in the world that will require no effort of you today. Be yourself and those qualities shine through.

TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (April 13). Your charisma and vision attract followers and inspire positive change on personal and societal levels. Though you don’t seek validation, you’ll graciously accept a long-overdue acknowledgment for your work. More highlights: Conflict resolves, loving relationships contribute to improved habits and health, your confidence rockets. Capricorn and Scorpio adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 1, 38, 18 and 21.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: It’s rumored that the third president of the United States and founding father Thomas Jefferson had an astrologer. Though no conclusive evidence has surfaced, Jefferson did mention astronomical discoveries in various pieces of correspondence, suggesting he was interested in cosmic events. Jefferson, who sent Lewis and Clark on their westward expedition, was a bold Aries born when the moon was in Sagittarius, the sign of exploration and expansion.
